Founder and Chairman
Chris Yang is the founder and chairman of Hampton Group.
Passionate about building commercial opportunities between China, the UK and other countries, Chris has initiated innovative and impactful projects to booster deeper understanding between international businesses and their Chinese counterparts.
In addition to his expertise in navigating complex issues in China as an advisor, partner and investor, Chris works closely with the Hampton Group leadership team to create, initiate and deliver major projects and deals for the company.
As an entrepreneur, he has total focus on building Hampton Group into an investment group with diverse interests in education, clean energy and health. He has a strong emphasis in cultivating the ‘next generation‘ of Hampton Group leadership, dedicating time to mentoring younger members of the team.
Chris holds an MA in Public Policy Management from the University of York. He divides his time between the UK and China, and when not focused on the business, Chris enjoys travelling, photography and following the latest fashion trends.
